Formentera , the small pearl of the Balearics in the Mediterranean, is preparing to welcome visitors with its crystal clear sea, white sand beaches and lively nightlife. With the onset of spring, the island awakens from its winter quiet and prepares for the tourist season.
The Climate and the Best Season
Formentera enjoys a mild Mediterranean climate all year round. During summer, temperatures exceed 30°C , making days ideal for sunbathing and swimming in the turquoise waters. Spring and autumn offer splendid warm days, perfect for tanning, although less suitable for swimming in the sea. Breezy winds always make the heat bearable.
During Holy Week, the island comes alive with the arrival of the first tourists, and many places decide to open now to welcome visitors.
In collaboration with PIMEF here is the list of venues open to date and upcoming openings.
