Carmen Es Pujols Festivals 2024
This year the Association of Bars, Restaurants and Night Shows of Formentera (ABRO) takes the reins to organize the celebrations of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Es Pujols with the collaboration of the Conselleria della Cultura. With this project we aim to recover patronal festivals where culture and tradition go hand in hand with tourist interest.
Through a series of recreational and religious activities, the village of Pujols will come to life and the funds raised will be used to organize events to promote restaurants and local products, activities that attract tourism and help deseasonalize the season .
Plan:
On July 18, from 11:00 p.m., the party begins with DJ Fede-B's musical entertainment on Avinguda Miramar with the aim of bringing life and animation to this Carrer des Pujols.
On July 19, Piazza Europa will host, from 9.30 p.m., the concert by the group Jarabe de Palo, "Tributo a Pau Donés" organized by the Conselleria della Cultura and at the end it will be the turn of local DJs Federico Chimirri. and Álex Abril who will offer the Festa del So until 03:00.
On July 20, from 11 p.m., the Planet Flower party will take place in Piazza Europa with DJ Günther, DJ Javi Box and DJ Pharma playing the best music from the 70s and 80s until 3 a.m.
On July 21st, the religious celebration will be held with the procession of the Virgin that will leave from Hostal Levante at 6.15pm to arrive at Plaça Europa where at 6.30pm there will be mass and the peasant dance organized by the local gangs Es Pastorells and Es Xacoters, to then continue with the maritime procession to the Varador houses. At the end, the Conselleria della Cultura and ABRO will offer earplugs to participants and bar service will be available for attendees.
On the nights of July 19 and 20 there will be a night bus service that will connect Es Pujols with the different centers, the timetables will be published soon.
PIMEF (Small and Medium Enterprises of Formentera) is an intersectoral association that supports small and medium entrepreneurs in Formentera. It offers free training, organizes promotional events and represents the interests of local businesses.

Next July 20, ABRO will celebrate the PlanetFlower party in Plaça des Pujols, a historic event on the island that has been held for more than thirty years.
